Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website.

Launch Mass for the Year of the Jubilee-Pilgrims of hope

Today, the whole school participated in the rescheduled launch Mass for the Year of the Jubilee-Pilgrims of hope. It was lovely to see so many families join us at the service and as usual the children’s behaviour was impeccable.

KS2 Mosque Trip

KS2 visited the Newcastle Central Mosque as part of their learning on wider faiths. The children enjoyed this immersive experience where they learned and explored the Islamic faith. They found out about the place of worship, and its importance to believers and the community.

Holocaust Memorial Day

On Monday 27th January, St. Mary’s children and staff participated in a Holocaust Memorial Day assembly. A day where we remember those killed under the Nazi regime.
