Year 4 have been learning all about Lent in their RE lesson. They explored what Lent means for Christians, why it is an important time of reflection, and how people choose to prepare for Easter through giving, acting and praying. After discussing the themes of the season, the children created their own informative pages all about Lent.

They designed these pages with their Reception buddies in mind, thinking carefully about how to explain the meaning of Lent in a clear and friendly way. Year 4 can’t wait to share their work and help their younger friends learn more about this special time in the Christian calendar.
