This week, we were very lucky to welcome Paul Sturges, a professional basketball player, into school. Paul is one of the tallest British basketball players and has played at an international level, inspiring young people through sport. He led a fun and active basketball workshop, where the children developed their skills, teamwork, and confidence.The session also linked closely to our school focus on treating everyone with mutual respect. Throughout the workshop, the children were encouraged to support one another, show good sportsmanship, and celebrate each other’s achievements. It was a fantastic experience that combined physical activity with important values about kindness and respect.
